If you don't mind staying at a hotel close to the border for about US$60.00, then it may be the right place for you. Local TV channels, very hot water, nice elevators and a room fridge are available. I haven't tried its restaurant, but managed to have lunch at the excellent Frutal Churrascaria two blocks away at the same road. Avoid those local junk food sandwiches at Avenida Brazil.
Conveniently located across the border, it's good for an easy walk to Paraguayan side for shopping on the streets. Rooms are simple and not very well kept. The air conditioning is not always enough for cooling a hot summer night. Breakfast is really good.
The A/C didn't work the first night, the shower box leaks making the whole bathroom floor wet and the room smelled like mold. On the other hand, the staff was very caring ans polite.
