I read a review online about a customer who said this place had the best hot dogs in Memphis and awesome fries, so I popped in. They were not exaggerating. I got the dog of the day, which was pretty simple, ketchup, mustard, onions, tomatoes. Didn’t think it’d be the size of two hot dogs!! And the fries were some of the best I’ve had like a crunchier, higher end version of McDonald’s fries, and I mean that as a compliment. We all know how addictive McDonalds fries can be! My one qualm is there is a required 20% gratuity calculated into the bill, which normally I wouldn’t mind, but I felt like my waitress used it as an excuse to provide lazy service. Ordered the sampler they offered. Was surprisingly filling and everything on there was pretty good. Not a fan of shoestring fries, but it came with the platter. Definitely enough food to share. Had a margarita that was mediocre and a side of chili that I didn't care for at all, but my daughter liked it, so try at your own risk. It wasn't a bad spot to hang out. We did end up downstairs, though, because it was too crowded upstairs.
When thinking late-night Memphis eats, Cookout or maybe Dixie Queen probably comes to mind for a lot. But Bardog has just made the top of the list in my book. Looking at this triple layered club at 1 a.m. beats anything else here in this town that I've been served past midnight. Congrats on being awesome. Good food, good service, good vibes. The food was pretty good but ultimately the atmosphere was not really my vibe. Music was way too loud, smoking indoors and very little seating. Maybe next time I'll just do a carryout order because the buffalo chicken tenders were very good. So if you're really looking to only eat, I would suggest grabbing something to go because you won't be able to enjoy it.

I was starving in the middle of the night and this was the only kitchen open in Memphis. I nervously wandered in, (I’m from out of state) not expecting much from a bar open so late. I was very surprised to have some delicious spaghetti, respectful staff, clean environment and fast service. Overall, this is my new late night munchies fix!
Memphis' underworld surprise! I was in town on business and of all places, they recommended this little gem. It wasn't hard to understand why. We gathered downstairs and really enjoyed our food and the service. Lillan took great care of us. I'm ready to give supper a try the next time I'm in town.
Went to the park and walked over to this just to find out what I been missing. Had a couple adult drinks and a meal. Me and my family was impressed. I should have been coming through.
Love this place so much! Food is always amazing, and Kendell the bartender downstairs, makes the BEST drinks. I wish he worked weekends lol.

Downtown bar for dive bar eats and drinks! We had chicken tenders and meatballs appetizers for a late lunch.
