I went to Barnaby's for breakfast and had a great food and an overall good experience. The menu definitely has a wide variety to choose from, so there is something for everyone when they go to Barnaby's. My only complaint would have to be about the staff at the location I went to (the River Oaks location). I went right after 8 when they opened, and a majority of the staff was sitting down enjoying their own breakfast while I was needed to order my food, get refills, and pay my bill. I almost felt like we were forgotten about a little. The food was delicious though, so I would be willing to give this location (or any other location) another try next time I'm in Houston.

I was using Houston Metro to get back to my car after a fleet vehicle pick up. The stop where I changed busses was right next to Barnaby's and it was lunch time so I went in. I was a bit taken aback by the lunch prices but I figured it was just a function of being downtown and life under the current administration. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and it was great! The chips that came with it were fantastic; must be made in house. I ate half and took half home and the chips were still great after being microwaved! An unexpected pleasure!

Stopped here for dinner while on business travel in H-town and sure am glad that I did. Very friendly vibe inside as it was apparent the place is frequented by regular local folk. Nonetheless my server was friendly and helpful after I conceded I was a visitor. The food was delicious. Gotta recommend the chips and salsa. I don't know if they buy this salsa from somewhere or make it from scratch, but it was served warm and it was fantastic! Really loved this place.

This is one of the best restaurants in town. Casual and friendly atmosphere. Great appetizers, burgers, salads, and steaks. To me, the best burger in town. I’ve been dining here for more than 20 years, and still love it as much as the first day.
