The breadsticks were fresh, but they were lacking in flavor, making them good for dipping but nothing remarkable on their own. The pizza was fantastic, although it could have used a bit more time in the oven to achieve a sturdier crust, as it struggled to hold up the two toppings we chose and ended up being a bit floppy. We had a wonderful first visit to this restaurant with our family, and locating it was easy. They were very accommodating to our group of seven adults and one toddler. The menu had a fantastic variety, and each of us chose something different. To our delight, all our meals arrived at the table within minutes of one another. Everyone enjoyed their hot and fresh dishes, which were served in generous portions. Our grandson especially loved his first restaurant experience! Our waitress was efficient and friendly, taking our orders, serving our meals, and checking on us throughout our visit. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Simcoe, Ontario, and the surrounding area!
The food at this restaurant is outstanding, with generous portions and a diverse menu. The ambiance is warm and inviting, featuring cozy booths for groups of four, ample seating for couples, and tables suitable for larger gatherings. I've consistently enjoyed my visits and often leave with leftovers. Although the prices are somewhat higher than average, the large portion sizes make it worthwhile, and I feel it’s a good value, especially given the high-quality service and pleasant atmosphere. Additionally, there’s a small bar on the premises. Parking is also convenient, with extra spaces available at the back of the building.
This was my first visit since the pandemic, and I'm happy to report that both the food and the atmosphere are still outstanding. I ordered the panzerotti filled with pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers, accompanied by a delicious marinara sauce. My niece opted for the eggplant parmigiana, and both meals were served with a side salad and a soft, seasoned breadstick. Our server was friendly and ensured we had a fantastic experience. There were so many appealing options on the menu that we didn't have room for dessert, even though they all looked very tempting. We'll definitely have to try them on our next visit! Book a table now
Our main courses arrived simultaneously, and we all ordered different pasta and meat combinations, each one delicious. I chose a special that wasn't on the regular menu, and I could have happily eaten it every day. Our fourth person went with a simple Caesar wrap, which she described as very fresh and crispy—exactly what she wanted. The bathrooms were clean, parking was easy, and our server was excellent. Although the restaurant was busy, she always approached us with a smile and had great timing in attending to our needs. We will definitely return whenever we're in the area!
In my view, the food was satisfactory but not remarkable. My waitress was exceptional and was very helpful in recommending a local beer that I really enjoyed. The salad was okay, though I've had better at chain restaurants. The breadstick that came with the salad was quite tasty, and the roll served with my meal was fresh. The lasagna was decent; while I liked the sauce, it felt a bit too heavy on the stewed tomatoes and lacking in meat. Honestly, I can make a better lasagna at home. On the bright side, there was a generous amount of cheese in it, which I did appreciate.
Our family, representing four generations, had a wonderful lunch there today. The food was exceptional, served piping hot, and there was more than enough to go around!
