That's terrible. I had to join the waitress when I came, I thought I had to wait even more for my table, which was completely in order. the hostess and the manager himself did not greet me when I came in, I sat about 15 minutes in the bar, no one gave me an update in my table nor was I greeted or reviewed. there were two empty tables and I had thought that one of them would be for me, but when I waited further, I noticed that it was not as a party of two (which I was) sitting before us. I had asked for an update, and the manager with an evil setting told me 20 minutes more. ok cool. after, another party of two sat down and I just realized that he didn't try to sit us. as soon as I go, my tab...
The food and waiter staff was great; spoke attentive.It was the manager who kept walking pass our table making us feel uncomfortable. He 1st walks by takes are forms we filled out for our food, without asking, tears them up in front of us and walks away. Then he comes and removes dishes from our table and doesn’t ask if we were finished. He continues to walk by us looking with a disgusting glare multiple times as if he wants us to leave. Next, he come with to go bags, which we didn’t ask for and places them on our table. He resumes walking pass us looking at us again as if he wanted us to leave. We got up and left. Coming from out of town, this was my 1 st visit here and it will be our last.
My favorite taco spot in Stamford!! Food is always fresh and comes out quick. Service is amazing. All servers are super friendly and attentive. The manager Matt is super accommodating and incredibly friendly.My top picks are always the falafel taco and pork belly taco. I never come here without ordering the plantains the dip that comes with it is so good!It is never too crowded here. Always found good seating. Bar is always free to sit as well. Definitely a continuous lunch spot for me !!
bartaco is a great place, I was here twice, the first on my birthday and order the tahone weel flight and some porkbelly tacos, this was all awesome, made me a second time just come from me to more pork belly tacos and some margaritas that are just great, a perfect balance of everything thanks to the barkeepers they just want to suck in front of their eyes. will try tons of others, new things. it's not expensive, so also its super.

Extremely slow expo, the managers have no idea what they are doing. I asked to be left alone but kept being offered free comps for the yelling from the general manager Matt next to me while I was eating. He was berating a server. Terrible communication Also why are managers smoking vapes? Also there was something reminiscent to a public hair fried into the Baja fish ?
Came here the other night and ordered the pork belly and chorizo tacos. My god the pork belly tacos were so good. The chorizo ones weren’t bad either, but I wanted more of that pork belly taco as soon an I was done lol. Bartenders made a great margarita as well. Definitely will be coming back next time I’m in Stamford.
was in stamford and wanted to eat a quick bite, so I went bar taco and I had a great time. I sat at the bar and jessi took care of me very much. their recommendations were great and their service was also amazing. it has a bright future there. will be back!
