We arrived on time for our 8:30 reservation and was told it would be about 10 mins. There was a bar and so we had a drink. The host was very nice. , he came into bar and said about 10 mins more we said ok. 1 hour later we were still not seated. Finally we went into the dining room and insisted on a table. The host was not very nice anymore. He totally ignored us the rest of the evening. Someone seated us and we received water and bread right away. Then we waited quite a while for a server to take our order. He served us within a reasonable amount of time, and the food was hot and good. Mgr (tall Gentlemen) or what seemed like the Mgr was a lil rough around the edges came and literally poured grated Parmesan on my plate had to move some Of it over to attempt to enjoy the pasta He did not seem hospitable his other servers Latin men) were nice . I will not eat there again.
My family and I have been going to Bartalinos for many years. For parties and just for a casual lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The food is always great and the service is top notch. I highly recommend it. Itâs a quiet refuge in the middle of bustling Astoria.

Have been to Bartolino's many times over the years and as always the food is consistently delicious, the menu and wine list extensive, and the service excellent.
The prefixed menu cost over dollars total for me and my girlfriend. Far too expensive especially considering there was no desert and the food was only ok.
Great Italian restaurant! I highly recommend. We were a party of 6, and we all enjoyed our food. Veal, pork pasta and seafood dishes all delicious.
