Navigation to the lower level fine dining restaurant on a dark evening was challenging. The steps were damp and leafy. Additional lighting would add a layer of safety. Zigzagging through various hallways to the restaurant was adventurous. We were greeted by a cheery and thoughtful server who took care of us really well. Although pricey (glass of wine $19_shared appetizer $24), the food quality was good. The timing of delivery of each portion of dinner was ideal. It would have been nice to experience the crackle and warmth of the room's fire place. Our birthday dinner, was overall, very good. The server made the difference.
The menu can be somewhat challenging to understand for those of us who don't speak Italian. Since most of your customers are not Italian, it would be beneficial to include some English translations for the menu items. We also wonder why the wine glass sizes are 5oz and 8oz, while other restaurants we frequent in Muskoka offer 6oz and 9oz options. We really appreciate your mission statement. We dine out at least once a week and live just a 5-minute walk from Bacilico.
The restaurant was very nice but the service was not impressive. They ordered my dinner incorrectly and my husband was finished his dinner and dessert before they even brought out my dinner. I didn’t even eat it because I was so upset and we were the only two people in the restaurant. I still had to pay for my dinner at the end.
Unfortunately my Cesar salads leaves were brown and the salad tasted watery and my daughters Mac and cheese was super bland. It was also her birthday, might have been nice to be offered a dessert menu. We were in a back room so the ambience was pretty dull but the other room with the windows looked lovely. Book a table now
Great good in a beautiful setting. Things were a bit slow in the kitchen with a huge party but the server was attentive and kept us in the loop. Great dining experience for my weekend trip to Bracebridge. The top sirloin was awesome! Loved the Brussels sprouts as a side. Highly recommend!
The servers were excellent, experienced, and attentive. There was a good selection of appetizers and main dishes, all offering delicious and consistent quality.
We had a group dinner for our employees here. We enjoyed our evening. This was our second group dinner here so we are definitely repeat customers!
