I came in relatively early and it was NOT busy at all. Placed my order and after 40 minutes of waiting they served another table who got there 30 minutes later than I did. I asked what was going on and without a sense of urgency they simply answered therewas a mix up. I waited a few more minutes but it didn't seemed they were slightly concerned about my order being really late -what a birthday brunch experience I had, NEVER AGAIN!
I live Batavia because they have the best freshest food! I wouldn't go to other places for salads. Batavias salads are very fresh and have plenty of ingredients (not like most American salads that have only leaves and a piece of tomatoes in it), which blend very nicely with unique dressings. Soups are also great! And chocolate chip cookies are supposed to die.
The food was incredible, and the service was exceptionally friendly. We're really glad we decided to walk a few blocks instead of waiting at the other brunch spots near the train station and found this hidden gem. They were able to accommodate our large group of 10, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I highly recommend it!
I visited this restaurant for the first time and chose to sit at one of the outdoor tables. I ordered a BLT sandwich, which was decent, while my friend absolutely loved her grilled cheese sandwich. The location is convenient, right in downtown and close to the train station, but parking wasn't an issue at all. Book a table now
Absolutely fantastic! We had the turkey/cranberry (Real turkey not deli! sandwich and two of us had the grilled chicken /portobello sandwich. Huge portions everything g is so fresh. The specials sounded so good (peach and Brie sandwich was oneoption . Gluten free friendly. Great place this is a must go!
Do you know where the best salads in the area are? Right. BATAVIA has the best selections in salads, they have their own signature salads, but you can take your with wherever you want. Anyway, everything will be fresh! Trust me the best salads in the North Jersey! I love it.
I ordered two dishes for a total of 30. The omelette was just a very thin layer of egg with a piece of toast, priced at an outrageous 15. It's way too expensive—absolutely ridiculous!
The sandwich was excellent, but the cookie was incredibly tiny—definitely one of the smallest cookies I've ever seen. Don't expect a big cookie! Book a table now
The bread on my breakfast sandwich was burnt. However, the fresh fruit salad was very fresh and well-prepared.
