Upon entering, you're warmly greeted with a traditional Japanese welcome: "Irasshaimase!" As you might expect, the menu features an array of ramen options, including shoyu and miso. Don't miss out on the edamame and gyoza as starters; the edamame is simple yet delicious, and the gyoza boasts a wonderful filling texture. My favorite part of the menu is the ramen itself. I always order mine with extra chashu pork, which is incredibly tender. While the noodles and toppings aren't extraordinary, the broth truly steals the show. It's rich and flavorful—perfect for sipping on a rainy day. During my visit, it appeared the owner was on-site, and the cook was closely overseeing the kitchen. I have i...

It was alright overall. Crabmeat fry: this was very pleasant, fry was perfect, inside crab meat imitate had exact texture as I expected, and two sauce went so well with the food. Onigiri: this was dissappointing. I believe the rice was not at all seasoned and salmon wasn’t much there while what I ordered was actually salmon onigiri. Katsu curry: It was not phenomenal but reminds me the taste that i get whenever i go to japan. So most likely I will be coming back for this one. Will come again for trying out ramen too.
Food: 4 5 Service: 5 5 Interior: 4 5 A fairly small restaurant, so the tables are very close in proximity to one another. The service was friendly and despite how it was pretty packed when I first came in I was seated within a few minutes. There is a shelf with manga on the side if customers want to read while dining. I got the Batten Ramen, where the noodles were chewy and the pork flavorful. Unfortunately, the broth itself was too salty for me though.
Good ramen options, alongside decent curry and udon dishes. We hopped into Batten Ramen as an alternative to order original destination that was full house. We found they have quite options in Ramen, curry and udon.I was happy with the taste of their curry, but sadly no curry dish with chicken. The Odayo udon was good, but too try for me, would have liked some kind of sauce with it, I ended using the curry.Overall a good place to enjoy a meal. Book a table now
Five stars for value, service and most of all the food. Get the Shanpon ramen the broth is sooo satisfying. I dare you to finish a bowl without a blissful smile on your face. Well worth the wait and the hunt for a parking spot. Their katsu curry is really good as well. Really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service is friendly, courteous and fast or they try to, given how busy they always are . A steady favorite.
I use this place on the day when they were around the corner in the oaktree center. this location has a because closed and after several years they opened this place on the main street that replaced Setagaya wheels. the offer is about the same. prices are slightly higher, but that is expected. service is good and eating is delicious. They are generous and they still have tons of manga available to read while they eat.
Their old location has closet the closed and now they are around the block on Main Street. The offering is roughly the same with with higher prices. Food is still delicious and service is friendly as usual. They still have tons of manga you can read while you eat. Street parking is limited in this area but there's a large municipal lot close by.
Great ramen place at fort lee. It is in a busy area so gets packed fast. Many options for ramen, rice platter don and appetizers. I had their signature ramen. The broth and noodles are good. But the pork is a thick and tough, not my favorite. Friendly staff and excellent service! Will come back to try other items on the menu. Book a table now
My kids absolutely love this place because the children's ramen is not only delicious but also less salty. Recently, they introduced a new special hot spicy option, but we haven't tried the regular spicy yet, which in my opinion is definitely worth a try.
This is the best ramen I've ever had! The broth is my favorite part. It took me two hours to get there, but it was definitely worth it.
