I paid for my room before arriving for my stay. Upon arriving the front desk attendant told me I would have to pay a $30 local tax for my one night in the room, which was no problem for me. Then, upon check out the attendant asked me if I would like a receipt emailed to me and I figured why not. After I left the hotel I took a look at the receipt to find that in addition to the $30 tax I was also charged $172 for “room fees”. The hotel was in an ideal location to explore the city and beyond. There were 3 subway (T-line) stations within a 10 minute walk to link to different areas including the airport. Check-in was easy and the staff were friendly and polite. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and included a fridge, robes and slippers. The restaurant offered good food including a hearty breakfast. On checkout, we were able to leave our cases in a secure room whilst we spent the last day sightseeing. Overall a very good hotel which I would return to if I was in Boston again.

The room was a nice, yet fairly standard room. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Conveniently located at a water taxi stop, nice ride from the airport after being on a plane for several hours. Paid for the upgrade to a waterfront room and the view was totally obscured by a shrub, water not visible at all. Very disappointed to have wasted money on a non-existent ocean view from the room.

Wonderful hotel and staff in easy to access location. Right on waterfront. Italian district of Boston (make sure you have cash to buy the irresistible food! . Only negative is the cost of parking which is “welcome to Boston”. I walked from here to event at MIT (about 40min .
