Bavarian Lodge - Table reservation

Great place to eat authentic bavarian/german sausage and meals. Friendly and fast service. Taos Ski valley I enjoyed to be here the second time with my wife’s uncle/godfather Walter Ruegg who was a pioneer of this ski valley building the first lift called „Rueggli“ and several others in the upcoming decades. He still lines to go there and meet his friends that are still working there. He as well helped to build this restaurant. A wonderful experience to enjoy this ambience that could not be better in Austria, Germany or Switzerland.

We almost always make our way to The Bavarian when we’re in Taos. Located at the Taos Ski Valley, this unique restaurant caters to the skiers as well as drive up diners. The view is spectacular. The food is very good, too. I’m always good for a schnitzel, giant soft pretzel and beer! It definitely is a fun place to go. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
