I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, all thanks to a Groupon dinner reservation I made online using OpenTable. We arrived at the restaurant when it opened at 5 pm on a Saturday night and were pleasantly surprised to find it not very crowded. With just three of us in our group, the waitress was able to give us her undivided attention. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped us make our food selections. I recently booked a Groupon dinner reservation online through OpenTable at this restaurant that opens at 5pm. My group of three decided to visit on a quiet Saturday night. The waitress was knowledgeable about the menu and helped us choose our dishes. I opted for the pizza, which was freshly made and delicious. I enjoyed watching the chefs work in the open kitchen, including making fresh pasta. The service was good and we did not feel rushed to order. Our waitress seemed like she was in a rush the entire time and was not very welcoming(this was our first time eating here). The magority of the interaction with our waitress was just awkward. Kitchen staff looked miserable while they made our pizza. One cook dropped something nearby us which made a incredibly loud noise in a quiet restaurant cook seemed to not even care which gave me and my wife the impression they were unhappy to be there. Also, for a restaurant that prides itself on authenticity, I was surprised peroni beer was not on draft during our visit. There's a great chance I won't visit this restaurant again.
We went at 7:15 and there were no customers there. We ordered drinks. One person got iced tea that tasted rancid. She was told it was made a couple of days ago . Three people ordered Pinot Grigio and the server came back and said they ran out, but offered a more expensive wine at the same price as the PG. A table of 10 came in later, ate and left before we finished our meal. Service was slow. Sorry to say, but their days are numbered if that is the new norm. Book a table now
Of all the coffees shown on the menu, only Cappuccino was available and then we were told the machine was missing a part so not that either. Ordered a beer and told that no one knew how to change it over as what we ordered was out. Did give us the last serving from the keg for free. Very slow service and the server did not really know the menu items all that well. Food is great though!!!!!!!!!!!
This was my first time at Bavaros and it was absolutely delicious. The pizza was perfect and it's the best vodka sauce I've had since I moved down to Florida. I will definitely be coming back soon! Our waitress was polite and professional.
Love this restaurant. Great homemade pasta dishes and amazing pizza. Reasonable prices on the wine. Would love if they would introduce Sangria. Very small so important to make reservations if large group. Highly recommend the tagliatelle.
I would definitely go back to eat there again, but unfortunately I discovered that the restaurant is closed. I thought we had discovered a fantastic pizza spot! Perhaps we will try the Tampa location instead. Book a table now
