a few weeks ago I have friends to the bay horse, to two separate places, for a meal. both were from the opposite and had visited the pub before there and took over gemma. they were pleased to receive a warm welcome from staff, a roaring fire, a clean pub, served well kept beer and good priced, delicious and filling food. as a native it is now great that they can be proud to take friends in their local pub. it's been a long time since that was the case. well done and many thanks to dan and gemma for their hard work.

It is very difficult to fault this establishment. The food was top class and much enjoyed. We ordered burgers, scampi, and a gammon steak, and all were at the top of their game. They were accompanied by beautiful chips and the price for these were very reasonable. To cap all this, the staff are very friendly, the service was good, there is a pool table, and it is dog friendly. What more could you ask for?

a wet and windy day when we arrived at 11.30 a.m., had only one coffee, but the woman had to have a cake and hot chocolate! nice talks with the renter and customers back so soon to try a decent selection of beer. now close to this pub so beer are excellent, timothy taylor champions club, eating is very good and much of being so close.
