One of my favorite places to visit. The area is beautifully maintained, with a large lake where swans can be seen. The large house on the premises is now open to the public once again. You can take a short walk through the lake or walled garden, or a longer walk to a lookout point or even walk a few miles around the circumference. Be aware, the hill can be muddy, especially after rain. During the summer, live bands play and it's a perfect spot for picnics. The area is well-protected on bad weather days. There are plenty of parking spaces available.

This restaurant is possibly the most impressive establishment I have ever visited. The architecture of the building itself is breathtaking, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable about the establishment and its history. There are multiple levels in the building, with some sections located below ground level. While there are stairs throughout, it was not clearly indicated where one set of stairs led. I am unsure if dogs are permitted inside the establishment, but there are numerous gardens to explore and plenty of walking paths to enjoy.

The restaurant is situated in a beautiful setting, perfect for a leisurely stroll with various options to choose from. The café has recently been renovated and offers a decent selection of affordable items. The main dining area has a breathtaking view, with multiple seating options available. However, parking can be a challenge as there are limited spots, especially for parents and those with children.

We had a lovely day here on Easter Sunday. The staff are super friendly and I like that there is someone in each room to give you general information about the room and its history. We then had a nice walk about the gardens and brought some books from their second hand bookstore. It was just a general nice day.
