This restaurant was just right for our Sunday brunch with friends. The food was excellent—fresh and plentiful—and everyone who tried the Lobster Rolls loved them. While the prices were a bit on the higher side, they included a Bloody Mary or Mimosa, which made it feel more balanced. It was lovely to sit in the central area on a warm September day, though there were a few bees, which is hard to avoid. I would definitely come back.
We have come to Bay Vue quite often..,mostly in the summer...you can’t eat dining outside on the water...we love the light music on Sunday evenings. We were a party of 4 and we enjoyed our meals...however the wait staff seems very harried...not the first time, and I am sure it won’t be the last. Maybe they are overworked, but they need an attitude adjustment.
The restaurant had only one waitress serving the entire place, and she struggled to keep up with all the tables. It took over half an hour for our drinks to arrive, and most of our food orders were incorrect. We had a table of six, and the burgers we ordered medium rare were served well done.
Such a great view from the rooftop! Anthony is my favorite bartender and is so efficient making sure everything comes out just right! Mainly, an appetizer sushi/poke cuisine upstairs, I believe there's a completely different menu downstairs. I highly recommend this place. Book a table now
Even with an early reservation, we weren’t seated in the inside dining area we wanted, because “a party that reserved the entire room” would not allow it. Such party never appeared while we ate dinner tho, while the room was filled with other “non-party” diners.
This evening, the service was understaffed. The kitchen has performed better in the past, but today it also fell short. Unfortunately, it wasn't up to the standards we usually expect from our favorite restaurant.
The good was outstanding as was the service, combined with the atmosphere on the water, perfect way to dine.
Service was very slow. Food was just ok but will give it another try in the future. Book a table now
