Made reservations well in advance for party of 6 on a Friday night and specifically told the hostess that we did NOT want to sit in the separate room by the bar since it is incredibly loud in there, and that we wanted to be seated in the main dining room. Were told they would note that on the reservation. When we arrived we were told there was a private party in the main dining room so we had to sit in the echo chamber room by the bar. No one bothered to call us in advance to let us know of their (apparently previously unknown?? seating limitations to give us an opportunity to make other arrangements. Very poor customer service.
This was our first time at Baywood Clubhouse Restaurant, and I dare say, not our last. We went for the Thanksgiving Day Buffet and it was everything a Thanksgiving dinner should be. Too many dishes to mention, so I will highlight my favorites: the sweet potatoes were delicious; cauliflower dish; rice; salmon; ham, so very good. There were plenty of usual dishes also. There were a plethora of delicious desserts, a stand out was the pumpkin pie. I cannot wait to go back. Thank you.
Of all the SoDel group restaurants, Baywood is my favorite! The menu is great and the food is consistent. And you can’t beat the atmosphere. Beautifully appointed gardens and lush, overflowing pots outside. Inside, the decor is upscale and just lovely. We’ve only had poor service once (a young lady who left for such long periods we had to go find her three times) but generally speaking the staff is fantastic! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
We are always happy with our experiences at Baywood. We feel like family rather than customers. This visit was with our extended family of 8 people the night before Thanksgiving. We had a quiet secluded room, great service from Amy, and everyone loved their food. My mom said her crab cakes were the best ever.

Once again a too notch dinner for the family. We ate here the day b4 Thanksgiving. Been here at least 4 times. Would be more be can only come when we are down visiting the parents. Everything we ate was delicious, the drinks were very good the service was attentive and nice. Keep up the great work.

Great experience and food. Was attending a birthday party. All the food was fresh, good and delicious.
Food was good but portions were a bit stingy. Room was very cold. This was Thanksgiving buffet.
