We enjoyed two fantastic meals at this restaurant. We started with the chicken taco appetizer and the French onion soup, which I truly believe was homemade. We also had the mushroom ravioli. The main dish portions are generous, and the soup could easily be a meal on its own. The combination of sweet Visalia onions, croutons, and Gruyère cheese is delightful, although it is on the sweeter side. The mushroom ravioli was incredible; the Parmesan sauce and sun-dried tomatoes added great flavor, and we received a generous serving of 7 or 8 ravioli—so much that we took 4 back to our hotel! This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food. However, I've noticed that it can be challenging to find a host who is readily available to seat guests. There's often a line, and the host seems to be juggling multiple tasks. On a positive note, most dishes come with bread that is incredibly fresh, and the rest of the ingredients are wholesome and healthy, which is definitely a plus. The drinks are excellent and mixed to perfection. One drawback is their unusual hours; they've recently changed them and now close quite early.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I ordered online during my break and still haven't received my food. No one approached me to provide any updates on my order. When I went back to request a refund, the staff member told me I had to process it through DoorDash, even though I ordered directly from their website. As I tried to explain this, she continued with her tasks and ignored me. This place is truly the worst—I'll never return. I completely wasted my time and my break.
We primarily visit this restaurant for its convenient location within Nordstrom, which is never overly busy and maintains a peaceful atmosphere. The ingredients used are fresh and of high quality; however, some of the dishes are a bit unusual. We preferred it under prior management, before the menu changes (and possibly a new chef). Nonetheless, it's still a preferable option compared to many of the other crowded and noisy eateries in the mall.

I've been visiting Nordstrom for years, and for the past two years, I've been going to Bazille. They serve the best burger I've ever had, but unfortunately, it's very inconsistent. They often run out of food items, and usually quite early in the day. The last time I was there, they were out of several menu items. I would definitely give it a 5-star rating if they didn't have this issue with running out of food. – Henry
Brunch for seventy dollars... wow! I ordered "the best part of French onion soup," and it arrived cold and saltier than the Dead Sea! The rest of the meal wasn't much better, but what really struck me was that I left three portions untouched, and not a single staff member asked if anything was wrong. That's just shocking!
I truly adore this restaurant! The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The food is consistently outstanding! Today, I brought home some pulled pork tacos with various toppings and a chicken and beet salad. I highly recommend Bazille at Nordstrom's in the Garden State Plaza!
As of February 2023, the experience was terrible. They have changed the menu and likely offer pre-packaged, low-quality food. Do yourself a favor and skip this place; the food is now akin to fast food and of poor quality.

The food was excellent and the service was great. We were truly impressed. The pasta dishes were delicious, and I had one of the best "simple salads" I've ever had at a restaurant.
