Beach Club At Bahia Beach

We were very excited about dining at this restaurant as I had just read about it in Travel and Leisure. When we arrived for our 7:30 pm Saturday reservations there were two other tables. About 30 tables were unoccupied. We were placed at a two top by the windows. It was raining and dark outside, but you could still see the fountains. Then 45 minutes later, when it was just us and one other table, they sat a large party of about 20 right next to us. That was our cue it was time to leave. Service was very lethargic, no enthusiasm. my man and I enjoyed the beach club today for lunch. added, we are from dc, where restaurants are usually expensive, but we thought it was reasonably expensive. we have thunfischtare (excellent,) frita carnita, and the black and it was all fantastic. the ambiente was beautiful. very large portions, so only a few appetizers can be a lot for two!

Food not worth the money. Service not up to par, especially when compared to the rest of St. Regis Bahia Beach.
