Hi all. I googled “Best Rubin Boston” and got several returns. One return was Bean Town Pastrami on Hanover street. I was in Revere but didn’t mind a 20 minute ride to get a proper Rubin and the word pastrami in in the title so I was excited to try it.Anyways, it took 40 minutes ?of course) but I found a parking spot right out front and thought the stars were aligning for a good Rubin.Didn’t happen.I ordered #3 . It’s the Rubin. Hands down best pastrami sandwich ever!!!! Today I had to fast for a procedure. While fasting I was thinking, no fantasizing about this sandwich and pleaded with my husband (who is also a huge fan of them) to take me into Boston for it. I always order an extra one for the next day. This has ruined all other sandwiches for me. Eat here you won’t regret it
We were hangry for sure so understand that anything would have been tasty at this point.But this simple pastrami and cheese sandwich felt like something my dad would prepare when I was a kid and hungry. Needless to say, I LOVED it.I would recommend this to literally anybody who loves the savory taste of pastrami.
This restaurant is fantastic! I have celiac disease, so I need to be cautious about where I dine. The corned beef here was exceptional, and they offer excellent gluten-free bread. It’s a win-win for me!

Good pastrami and roast beef. A little heavy handed on the condiments so ask for light if you don’t like a lot on your sandwich.
Showed up with 15 minutes before closing time and was rudely told that he was closed so he could clean. Will never visit again.
