We are longtime LEYE fans and love Beatrix. But, for us, the volume of the high energy music played on the patio interferes with having an enjoyable meal. I don’t think we’ll be back to Beatrix’s patio. Sumerhouse and Oakville (both of which we have visited this summer) are better options for us. Today, we also found the music across the street at Publican was more consistent with enjoying a nice meal. Yet, we appreciated the food and wonderful service we enjoyed today. Our only problem (which we made known politely three times) was please lower the volume. They did following the third request to a level that still allowed the music to be enjoyed. For that, thank you.
I really like Beatrix. I think I’ve been to every location. The Fulton Market location was too loud for my taste and the layout was a bit perilous if you want to go to the bathroom because you have to pass the bussing station and the floor is slippery (don’t bring grandma), but it’s very lively and the food is consistently good, just like the other locations. It’s a comfortable spot with great customer service, and the fact that I know I’ll always get a good meal makes me return time and time again.
My partner and I both enjoyed the AAA Salad with two proteins, Steak and Fish. I asked for some Chimichurri Sauce for my Steak, but accidentally squeezed it on my salad instead. It was all incredibly delicious! I also appreciated that the restaurant has a cafe with Coffee and Dessert available right there, and you can place your order directly from your table.
We enjoyed two great entrees plus a nice rosé. Service was good. On a very hot Friday night, the restaurant was packed and the doors were left open resulting in a less than comfortable inside temp. It is a noisy place, but in fairness, it is not a choice billed for those wanting a quiet, elegant dining establishment. But the food was really good.

Although the restaurant was very busy the hostess got us in right away for our reservation. Also our server was very careful with my friend’s food allergy. Food was delicious!
It was wonderful! Our waitress, Radley, mentioned that she had just completed her training and did an excellent job serving us.
Never disappointed with Beatrix! The food, service, availability is always great! Our server Erin was fantastic!
