The staff here is super nice! The ambience is sweet and cozy. Food is hit and miss, but this is one of the better places to eat one of the few places in Beatenberg. Some bakery items are pretty good. (Love... the likes of the pastries when they have them. Others look good, but don't taste so good. Sandwiches are pretty good. Pizza crusts are thin, crispy. Avoid the chocolates. They are not produced there and are not high quality. Instead, get chocolates from Läderach in Interlaken.
Found this Café by chance when walking between Habkern and Beatenburg station. It was the only one open as a lot of the local businesses close Mondays and reduced times. There is a great choice of cakes (good portions of homemade cakes with fresh fruit)...and cooked savoury pastries. There is a fair choice of snack meals all at reasonable prices for Switzerland. Excellent coffee an pleasant staff who were very helpful and spoke English and German. It is also on the trotibike run.

Wir haben Kuchen und Brot zum Mitnehmen gekauft. Freundliche und zuvorkommende Inhaber. Der Kuchen war sehr gut, ebenso wie das Brot.Man kann diese Bäckerei und Konditorei uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Book a table now
Great little tea room in the middle of Beatenberg. The cakes and bread are lovely and fresh, and they make amazing ice cream sundaes too. A lovely place to stop and have a break and admire the view.
We always enjoy eating breakfast at Bel-Air. Often, we walk down for a croissant. My favorite is the chocolate filled croissant!???? The owner is always friendly and helpful!❤
