I don’t like to leave bad reviews but overall we had a disappointing experience here for a birthday meal. On arrival of our flatbreads we noticed they must have been mistaken as we ordered the garlic cheese one and this had no cheese. We queried this with our waitress to which she said there was cheese they are trying out a new kind which you can’t really see?!!! She then pointed to a few tiny bubbles said that was it…she looked embarrassed trying to explain about the invisible cheese and it was absolutely baffling. Our mains arrived and the pasta dishes lacked any sauce, they were dry with little to no flavour. We sent one meal back as it was so dry and it came back shortly after with a tin...
We had family staying with us from Australia so decided to all go for a meal there together my son in law has restaurant s in Oz), on entering the restaurant it looked amazing but the food was really disappointing . We had a selection of food and one starter which states is big enough to share for 2) ... maybe 2 toddlers!! It was a garlic and cheese flatbread...we stated that it was a mistake because we'd ordered one with cheese...on scrutinizing it the waiter said yes there it is and if you looked closely you could see a few strands of cheese. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! Awful food, the ‘new recipe pollo pasta’ was children’s pasta microwaved with a cup of soup poured on top. I’ve never tasted something so disgusting, both pasta meals were microwaved. I’ve tasted nicer Tesco ready meals. Was told my meal would be taken of the order and wouldn’t have to pay, however I still managed to be charged £50 for food that was revolting that got sent back!! There are so many other lovely restaurants in the area, spend an extra £20 and you could have 4 beautiful steaks from miller and carter, £20 less for a beaut meal from Wagamamas next door. This place needs closing down and turning into something else, because every inch of food was pathetic...
I used to be a regular at this restaurant, but lately, I have been very disappointed with the decline in quality. The prices have gone up, but the food and service have gone downhill. When I ordered the Calamari, I was served what seemed to be leftover bits and crumbs from the packet. It was unacceptable to expect me to pay 8 pounds for that. I sent it back and asked for a refund. My partner had the bruschetta, which was served on rock-hard bread. When she raised this issue with the manager, she was told that the bread was fresh and delivered daily. I'm not sure what isn't working at the branch but something needs fixing. It looked understaffed in terms of servers and the member of staff we dealt with clearly not having a good day, he was unapproachable and unhelpful at times when asking questions. The food was also very disappointing. The pizza didn't have a lot on it and the same with the pasta dish, they are both expensive so this felt like a real rip off. Unfortunately it wasn't a pleasant experience so with regret we won't return which is a shame as we usually enjoy Bella Italia.
Myself and my partner visited a few months ago and had some great service that I thought I would review. We had Ivette as our server and she was so pleasant and helpful, one of the loveliest servers we’ve had! The food was great too, will definitely come again! :
The service at this restaurant is fantastic, with staff members who are very welcoming and engaging. The food is also delicious and served in generous portions. The deals are great and we especially enjoyed the novelty of having a robot deliver our food.
Service was poor, food took nearly an hour, they kept saying it’s on its way then finally apologised and said our order ticket got lost, unbelievable! Food was bland, staff not great, never will I step foot in any Bella italia again! Book a table now
