"Food was good. Service was top notch. Valet service friendly and efficient. Staff friendly. Noise level was high. Tables close together. If you don't mind high noise level I would recommend. Perhaps acoustic ceiling tile or some other form to reduce noise level would help reduce noise level."

It was the worst experience I have had with any Resturant including Bella. I know it was a Saturday night. but that doesn't make an excuse for having a table for two so small you can hardly put more than one plate on it. They're just trying to squeeze as many people as they can. That was outdoor also the outdoor noise which is unbelievable to me was just as loud or louder than inside the restaurant, I've made a decision after going to Resturant for many many years when they were in Highland Park. I will not come back. We had one drink at an appetizer and I couldn't take anymore and my friend that was with me agreed we got up and we left and the other thing is while all the restaurants that h...

Enjoyed a relaxed dinner with friends at the new location in Highwood. Staff were outstanding, atmosphere was very pleasant, food was delicious. They created an angel hair pasta Alfredo with shrimp for me, based on my description when I didn't see it on the menu. My only question: why don't restaurants remove the tails of shrimp when they are included in a pasta dish with sauce? Seems like all restaurants do (i.e. don't do) this. Not a big complaint; more a curiosity. I'm just sayin'.

The pastas are great my husband had the Cioppino which was amazing great broth and tons of fresh seafood. I would definitely get next time or share..I had the halibut special that was just ok covered in lemon butter sauce so only tasted the sauce. Our server was great on a packed Saturday night. We sat outside which was noisier than inside because of the tent like awning. Good Italian wines and a great negroni!!!

My wife ordered Cacio e Pepe. They charge a premium price $32) and it was not even Cacio e Pepe. Where the sauce is supposed to thicken and stick to the pasta, this was drowning in a butterey oil tasting sauce. Very disappointing. If you want to charge a premium price for something, do it right and make it good. The service was great but the food is average at best. I doubt we will be going back. Book a table now

This was my first time at the new location. Everything was just perfect. The outside has great outdoor seating with live music and then you walk inside to such a trendy place. Beautiful chandeliers all over, greenery hanging from the bar and large mosaic tiles on the back wall. Everything we ordered tasted amazing and our waitress was very attentive and nice. We'll be back for sure.

The service was atrocious-granted it was a Saturday night. However, we had to ask for bread, silverware... and then when we were actually ready to order our meal, the waiter walked by our table 4 x without coming to take our order. His attitude also was showing thru that he didn't want to be there. We paid for our appetizer and then left. And don't even ask about the noise level?

We always have the most personable and attentive servers here! They make us, including my teens, feel like true VIPs. Tonight out server was Deb. She went above and beyond to make our family feel loved and special. Even another server who wasn't assigned to our table stopped by to schmooze. It was truly a wonderful experience. And, the food is so fresh and delicious!!

Belle Via is the best Italian restaurant for traditional southern Italian food in suburban Chicago land. The food is terrific and the waitstaff superb and attentive. The selections are authentic and diverse. The prices represent value and everyone has pride in the establishment. Belle via has become our go to restaurant for non-pretentious excellent Italian dining. Book a table now

Great move by them to go to Highwood in a smaller venue than they had in HP. Great vibe, fantastic food and service. The only downside is that it's VERY noisy. Maybe if they put some sound absorbing material on the ceiling. I think I saw some, but they need more! Otherwise a very enjoyable evening.
