Updated review: I was contacted by the Bella Vista Manager after posting my review. He was apologetic and offered us a partial refund for the evening and a complementary Sunday buffet when we?re back in the area. Even though this doesn?t change the experience I appreciate that they?re aware that the evening could?ve been improved and how to do it. Seems they?re headed in the right direction. I would just call beforehand and check on their menu and position of your table, outside is the nicest or next to a fireplace inside. We went to Valentine's Day. They had a set menu of 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. We knew the price before the time. But also, for the price we paid, and for the amount of people they had occupied, I feel like we have always waited. In the first hour I wondered as if they had nothing to do, and in the last hour I saw all the other people waiting for their food. We spent 3 hours there just because it took 45 minutes to get our next meal. I feel like we only started getting attention when I waited my watch for so long. The best of all. The service is impeccable and the food is amazing. If you want to treat yourself, press Bella Vista. The Veiw from the terrace of any time of the day is so-kal at its best. One of the best restaurants in Montecitos.
