The 4.5 stars made me come in and try this place since The Nest was overflowing with people. Upon entering the door you are greeted with a table full of customers eating facing you. STRAIGHT ON FACING YOU. OMG ITS HORRIBLE. Poor people. We ordered a waffle combo and asked for the eggs to be separated from the waffle and the lady looked at us with the dirtiest look ever. It's obvious she did not like the request or she was having a very horrible day. We also ordered a house made honey bran muffin. When the food came the waffle was not cooked and mushy inside. This was the worst honey bran muffin I've ever had. When we asked for the check we explained to the server what happened with the food...
I decided to visit this Diner based on other reviews. As soon as I walked in, I could tell that the restaurant had seen better days - the furniture was old and the floors were dirty. I ordered an omelette, which was delicious and perfectly seasoned. However, the coffee was weak. The customer service was good, with a attentive server. I believe the owner should take two days to clean, wax, and repaint the diner. This would rejuvenate the place and add more charm. Despite its current state, the diner has a loyal customer base, so investing in these improvements would be worth it.
The breakfast is good and the service is fast. You will have no problem finding a table or a friendly face because the staff is happy you are there. Everything on the menu is affordable and there are options for everyone.The building itself is decorated for you to enjoy yourself while you wait, as well as fun music to tap your foot to. Just go and have a good meal, you won't regret it.
I had corned beef hash and my friend had the diner kitchen sink omelette. both were very good. when they eat here, they try their homemade hot sauce. it's delicious! the personal is friendly and they can say that this place is loved because it seems that everyone is familiar with each other so that they have to eat here a few times. I'm coming back in a definitiw!

This restaurant was awful. The eggs were undercooked, the waffles were frozen, and our order was incorrect. The coffee was weak, the service was terrible, the hash browns had no flavor, the hot chocolate was gross, and one of the staff members was extremely rude.
excellent place to get morning breakfast very consistent in the inner city in the main strip of bell flowers. the personal is very friendly and welcoming. the owner john is always there, the orders and sitting customers as they come.
terrible service, eating was best moderate, sat for 30 minutes with empty water glasses as they can see full teller of eating empty water glasses) also had to ask for refilling on my coffee. sad, because it used to be top-notch!
I like this place very much. theres a romantic air. The cuisine is exeptionaly good. the service is efficient and the personel is friendly. The price is honest. extremely recommend.
