Service was great and the food came fast. I had their special of the day which was the basil dough beef ravioli with a rose sauce which was excellent. My partner had the veal meatballs and spaghetti which she thought was also excellent. Our starters were a ceasar salad and a house salad, I had the house she had the ceasar. The house salad was very delicious and refreshing. My partner did not know that in house made ceasar dressing is made with anchovies and did not appreciate the taste. I personally enjoyed finishing the ceasar salad. We finished with a espresso and a creme brulee which had a strawberry chutney and a slice of fresh strawberry with whipped cream, the sugar on top of the brule...
For my whole life, i lived off bellisimo's amazing food. The problem is that now i am spoiled and cant find REAL italian food as exquisite as that. 30 years of perfect plates, i actually have been getting the same recipe for ALL that time. Oh. Used to eat tons of fresh mussels too. But the Ripieno, is what dreams are made of. That is some special multi generational recipe that came over from italy. The service has always been at the highest level of servers, and bar tenders. Forsure one of the best resteraunts in the city.
Food was amazing, the staff was fantastic, drinks were great, pricing was a bit high but it is my new favourite place in Winnipeg.I have celiac disease, so I came here off the recommendations of Facebook groups and I was so incredibly impressed with my gluten free pasta (cooked in its own water and everything! and I would HIGHLY recommend going here if you have celiacI have been meaning to write this review for a while now. Very happy with this visits meal. You can have a look at my picture. To get a visual. Scalps cooked to perfection. Just the perfect amount of sauce. Rich and creamy! It’s been over a decade since my last visit here. But since my last visit, my love for pasta has grown significantly. If I like this meal, you will also appreciate this meal

This is the first time to Bellissimo. The restaurant is not very spacious but cozy enough to enjoy a nice family dinner.We loved most of the foods, especially their pasta, just the pizza was average.Definitively we will go again next time for Italian cuisine.
We went here on a Friday evening no reservations and got in right away. Service was incredible even though the restaurant was packed! We will definitely be coming back. My husband had the lamb and I had the Veal meatballs. Everything was scrumptious.
This is a great place for lunch and it is not expensive. We had good service and the menu was full of many choices and the specials were very good as well. Have also been there for dinner and also had a very good experience. Would go there again.
Four of us enjoyed an amazing evening. Our waiter was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Food was hot and flavourful and delicious. This was our first time, but the next time we are in Winnipeg we will be sure to return.

This is one of our favourite Italian places. The service is absolutely stellar! The food is always perfect. We've been a number of times and have never been disappointed and we LOVE Italian food!
Have not been for over 5 years. So happy to have gone back. The service was EXCELLENT!! Food was superb. Everything that my family and I ordered was sooo good. I will certainly be going back.
