Bellue's Fine Cajun Cuisine

This place was recommended for travel advisers so we decided to check it. It is cozy, few tables, very relaxed and friendly. If Mr. Bellue heard us? re from Croatia, he was very eager to present us local cuisine, try different foods. Everything was delicious, delicious, large portions, affordable. We fell in love with his food and him as a person, he gave us a tour around the restaurant, showed us his toys he was welding like tank bells, swings... to talk to him, eating his amazing food, listening to his stories and experiencing such a real hospitality was a highlight of our vacation.

Bellue's was a true diamond in the rough. We weren't sure about it from the outside but once inside you felt welcomed and at home. The kitchen staff was amazing and told us all about the food items. Mr. Bellue gave us samples of anything we asked about! It is a small, no frills place but the food tasted terrific! The place was totally full by the time we left! Mr. Bellue is a friendly guy and you can tell he cares about what he does and also cares about his community. We will be back for sure!

So grateful for an amazing experience as we stopped here while driving through. From the owner to all the staff, everyone was so friendly and nice to talk to. We got the shrimp etoufee, shrimp po boy and chicken strips for the kids. Everything was delicious. The fried boudin was a favorite, even with the kids. Would highly recommend!

Love the dinner. All are great and at a very fair price. Never had a bad service experience here, always friendly and ready to please. The smoked turkey is great!

Best crust fish I have eaten for years! Had it over the dirty rice with red beans and mustard green.
