Don't normally bother writing reviews, however I felt it necessary to comment on the slow food service. Ordered set course menu and kids menu. Asked if any item on the kids menu would have egg free option due to allergy, was told here was no egg in pasta. Ordered the dish, but was later told it contained egg and to order something else. Entree appeared before kids meal, which was supposed to be scallop dumpling except it had no scallop only prawn which could have killed someone at my table. A crustacean such as this should be disclosed in the menu or by the staff. Was offered zucchini carpaccio instead, however it was not nice to eat, overpowered by olive oil. Staff were apologetic and we we...

We made a reservation at this restaurant for breakfast because we needed to be in the city early that day. The restaurant is located in the Hilton Hotel in the heart of Brisbane. We opted for the buffet breakfast, although there is also an à la carte menu available (which we couldn't find on their website). The food was typical of a high-quality hotel, with a variety of options including made-to-order eggs. The French pastries on the warming tray were particularly delicious. There was a good selection of breads and some gluten-free options available. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, providing service with a smile. At $39 per person, it was reasonably priced. I would definitely...
Good solid service from wait-staff. Although it take an inordinate amount of time for a diet coke to arrive. My eye fillet was cooked to perfection - rare as requested. My husband truly enjoyed his pork cutlet, which was complimented very nicely by the chive and cream sauce.Wine prices were on the high side; $17 for a Cloudy Bay Sav Blanc is rather expensive. At least the wine was served at the table, this is a very nice touch and something that I would like more restaurants to adopt.i also found the trendy, strangely shaped flatware odd - it did not sit well in my hand, not the hand of my husband - who am I to argue with fashion. All that aside, we are likely to return, as the city location w...
A group of us, from out of town, booked on a Friday night to avoid a noisy environment (we are on the older side). The booking was fine and the service excellent but....The atmosphere is bland, the food is expensive and nothing that remarkable. The menu appeared limited for the upmarket prices. It's never a good sign when vegetables and other sides are 'extras'. Hubby pretty much just had a big pork chop on his board. The steaks were tender and tasty but the duck was over-cooked. The waiter offered a free dessert as compensation for the disappointing duck - a lovely offer, accepted and enjoyed. The wine is also high end.We should have stuck with bar food in the atrium Book a table now
My partner and I went here for dinner on the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered the Dine BNE Supper Club special that was running which had 3 meats, 3 sides and 2 desserts. We had a fantastic experience and all of the staff we interacted with where so super friendly. Our waitress (Bettina I think) was so lovely. The food was really wonderful too. The meat was cooked really nicely and all of the sides were really tasty. The dessert was wonderful too my lemon and basil tart was delicious and had edible glitter which was fun. Even though the restaurant is quite fancy the staff were so friendly it really put us at ease. Would absolutely dine here again.
This review focuses on the customer's negative experience with a restaurant due to a reservation mishap. The reviewer had booked a table online for lunch on a Saturday for three people, only to arrive and be told that the restaurant was closed for lunch on weekends. The staff, including the manager, showed no concern or apology, offering the option to sit at the bar or leave. The reviewer decided to dine elsewhere in Brisbane CBD. The lesson learned was to not always rely on online reservations for restaurants.
Our whisky club recently held a tasting at the Vintaged Bar and were very impressed with the preparation they put into setting up the table and glassware, the food platters, and the service throughout. As happy as we were, the staff still inquired as to what they could do to make it better next time. Couldn't fault this place at all.
Exceptional food and lovely staff made this a highlight of our short trip to Brisbane. All of the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our service staff were all polite and friendly adding to a memorable dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful evening! Book a table now
Breakfast is terrific with something for everyone, including a juice machine, egg station and all the ingredients to make your own eggs benny.
We only had breakfast in the grill and that was good. There was plenty of options to choose from including having eggs cooked for you.

"The food was tasty. But everyone at our table immediately felt very ill. Almost instantly. The salmon was also a little to raw. The meat was quite a fatty cut"
