"beautiful location at marina. this place was discovered a few years ago on a walk from the center of living coasts and has since expanded. for the theatre. I have Coeliac disease so unfortunately could not have the calimari so had moules cider that I would never come before and very enjoyed them do moules marinière also, but I have fanned something else. beautiful Gin menu also! I had dartmouth gin that was beautiful; the older flower tone made a beautiful mixer."

Purposely made our way to this restaurant because of its reviews. Tried to book but could only do so if a group of or more. It looked like we were going to be out of luck as it was extremely busy as we approached. However, with a bit of juggling and a can do' attitude we (two) were able to be seated. The experience just got better from there. The food was excellent, the service was brilliant and seeing all the staff with cheery faces and willingness to help was a credit to themselves and the management. I have to make special mention of Luke who was very patient in dealing with our enquiries when we arrived and that very special can do' approach. Equally, watching all the staff over the cours...

Below Decks was a great find, lovely location with views across the Marina and the sea beyond. We stopped for food twice, once for lunch and again for dinner a few days later. The food was beautifully cooked and presented with a touch of class. The seafood platter was amazing !The missus had a mushroom linguine and asked for garlic bread which wasn’t on the menu, the waiter asked chef if he would make some and he obliged with the most (in her words) stunning garlic bread I have ever had. Can’t fault this place, it’s not cheap but why would you want cheap in such a lovely location? We will definitely be back when we next visit Torquay. Credit where it’s due guys, thank you.

first visit to this beautiful restaurant/bar to eat. we already had drinks. my wife and I both had the underdecksburger. they were very tasty, well presented and large portions. our waiter informed us that they were using a local metzger for the burgers, and they must stick with them as the burgers were absolutely delicious. they came with salate and clobular chips (and also very many of them). we were very happy. the service was excellent and the location was recently updated and fits well to the surrounding marina. we will definitely return.
