Beneventi's Italian

We returned to this Italian gem to spend a relaxing evening in Rome. It's rare these days when things come together as well as they did here...and for the second time in a row. We asked the server to course three shared dishes, and she did well keeping the courses from overlapping, but it did take some diligence. The buratta starter was nice with a few fresh tomato adornments. The pasta course was an amazing sausage and mushroom offering. We'll get this again. Finally, the seabass (which I find a risky choice at many places) was perfectly cooked with traditional surroundings of spinach and mashed potatoes. The food was delicious! I had the lasagna and highly recommend it. It was quiet and quaint and the service was top notch. Shelby, our server, was an absolute delight. If you haven’t been you MUST try this amazing Italian food hidden away in the small town of Mingus.

What a gem in Minus! Who knew?? The restaurant is very cute and charming. The service was good as well. We had the gnocchi tots which were really yummy, the chicken picatta, the chicken murphy, shrimp alfredo and pasta with pink sauce. Everyone was happy!
