For being the OG of hibachi I expected so much more. I had the hibachi chicken which was served with 3 small shrimp that were cut in pieces, soup and salad, one piece of zucchini and some onions. Chicken was fine, not great. Husband had the Emperor’s Feast and the filet portion was flavorful but over cooked. His came as a 6 course meal including ice cream but our server argued with us that it was not included and tried to charge us another $5 for a small scoop. Finally we had her pull out the menu and showed her it was included and her response was ok I won’t charge you. The decor is very minimal and can certainly use to be updated. I LOVE Benihana. It is one of my favorite restaurants, however, I was disappointed to learn this location does not make/serve yum yum sauce. What’s Benihana without yum yum sauce??

Food is not as good as it once was. Place is starting to look worn. Cleanliness is a definite shortcoming!
