Bennys USED to be the go to destination. This used to be an amazing Soup and a great place to eat, but lately something changed, you get less of everything and it all costs more money. No chips, no salsa, this particular soup used to have plenty of chicken in the Homemade Mexican Chicken Soup .You can see that they have completely tried to take advantage of loyal customers. The staff is hard working this seems to be a management issue. I used to love Bennys now, I will likely order from other Mexican restaurants that are generous in their portions and charge half as much.
This restaurant was amazing! The staff was friendly, and we didn’t have to wait at all for lunch. It was slightly pricier than we expected, but the food was absolutely delicious. The burrito had the perfect combination of guacamole and carne asada. The soup was quite generous in size and, despite having a mix of random vegetables, it was really tasty and ideal for a chilly day. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely return!
The tacos were decent, though there was a bit of fat in them, which I think is pretty typical. However, the price really caught me off guard; nearly $5 for a taco just isn't worth it. I'd give the tacos 2.5 stars because of the cost. The California burrito was okay at first, but it also had a lot of fat in it, so I'll rate that 3 stars. Overall, I don't think this place is worth the trip for the tacos.
I waited 20 minutes for two tacos, and they weren’t very good. The table was sticky, and there were two flies buzzing around. I requested no hot sauce, yet still received it, along with no dinnerware or napkin. On the positive side, the staff was courteous and did apologize for the wait. Book a table now
I called the restaurant after placing my order to ask for no rice in my macho burrito, since the app wouldn't allow me to specify that. Unfortunately, when I received the burrito, it still had rice in it instead of the meat I had ordered. Additionally, the rice was a bit hard.
I haven't finished trying everything on the menu yet, but everything I've had so far has been excellent! You can't go wrong with any of their tacos. My favorite is definitely the asada breakfast burrito!
This was the first restaurant I visited when I moved to LA, and it has never let me down! From their California burritos to their rotisserie chicken, I’ve enjoyed everything on the menu.
Spot is smaller than expected but it was worth it. Food was cooked fresh to order and tasted great. Definitely a good local spot to visit instead of tourist chains. Book a table now
Food wasn't hitting like I expected. I always received pickup orders from here so I thought I'll give it a try. Maybe it was a off day for them. I will try again.
