When we tried to order at the bar, there were two barmaids serving. One barmaid had a line for drinks, while the other had no line. I was told that I could only order drinks at that till and had to join the other line to order food, which I found to be odd and poor customer service. Despite the sign suggesting to order food at the bar during busy periods, it did not make sense to have a line for food when there was an empty till point and only a few people waiting to order.

Visited at 4-15 place was virtually empty food still took 23 minutes to arrive chips were covered in black bits indicating old oil.When staff were questioned about it taking so long they argued the toss that it was normal waiting time to cook what we had which was burgers and a mini mixed grill maximum cooking time ten minutes max.Was left looking at food for five minutes whilst she went and got cutlery which is usually brought at the beginning when you order young girl behind the bar got two drinks out of the three ordered wrong and missed an item off the food order all petty mistakes but when the place is almost empty it should be flawless and it was shoddy with the staff completely uninte...
We had a buffet after our christening for 30 people. All the staff and management were really accommodating nothing was too much trouble and the food was incredible. Everyone commented on how nice it was all the sandwiches were brilliant loads of variety and all the hot food was constantly replenished no one left hungry. I would highly recommend this place, excellent for young ones as well good kids menu, and children’s play area outside.
I haven't been here since before the Covid lockdown, but I will definitely be coming back. We opted for the 2-course menu for £4.99 and found it to be sufficient for us at our age. Our meals were served by Aby, who was friendly enough to have a conversation with. We inquired about what was underneath the raised dining section in the middle, but received no clear answer. Does anyone have any ideas?

Where can I start. The FOOD was 5 star absolutely beautiful. The deserts was stunning really nice too they was very freshly made. The cocktails got to our heads very quickly just what we wanted . The lady behind the bar Eileen was very polite and helpful such a lovely lady very happy . We will definitely be returning for some enjoyable food soon.
The service at this restaurant is excellent, especially from Megan behind the bar! The pub itself is fantastic, with great customer service skills and facilities for families including an outdoor play area.
Great outdoor seating area with play area for kids which my lad enjoyed, friendly staff food was nice and reasonable priced comapred to another pub in the area Large seletion of drinks
