We took the Eckbauerbahn up the mountain to eventually hike over to the Partnachtklamm gorge and stopped here for a cup of coffee and hot tea to get us going. The patio area has a panoramic view of the mountains and it was fairly busy...on the morning we were there. Inside is a very Bavarian atmosphere and the views out the windows if you were sitting would be just as wonderful. The food is served cafeteriastyle which took us a second to figure out

After a long hike, you’re way too exhausted to argue with strangers, so this is a bad choice, if you’re not a fan of arguments with the workers there. Hopefully they learn to treat customers better

I've migrated from the grazeck. the eckbauer restaurant was not open, but I enjoyed fresh buttermilk from the stand, which also sold beer.
