The walk up was on a slight incline all the way and views of Frankfurt to die for., once there, warm and friendly atmosphere with hand case mit musik wonderful and a large variety of beer, wine and schnapps. English and most nationalities frequent so they understood what we all had to say in varying languages. The food is good, well prices (not expensive at all) and the views are wonderful. Das positive zuerst: Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen waren völlig ok. Schönes Ambiente und Terrasse mit tollem Ausblick. Leider wurde es untersagt den Platz zu wechseln. Leider war draußen alles besetzt. Kurz nach unserer Bestellung wurde draußen etwas frei und wir wollten uns umsetzen. Worauf die Bedienung (mariana) uns unfreundlich mitteilte das man nicht einfach so den Platz wechseln darf. Das hatte ich noch nie erlebt. Des weiteren wurde zu unserem Essen der Salat vergessen und nach zweimaliger Nachfrage habe ich ihn auch nicht mehr bekommen. Aufgrund des guten Essens werden wir bestimmt mal wiederkommen und hoffen das wir einfach einen schlechten Tag erwischt haben. Dann sind du...
Should you be on a hike between Saalburg and Sandplacken you should not miss Herzbergtum for the magnificent view and the Berggasthof for a Kaffee und Kuchen or a real meal. The menu is not long, the meals are simple but good an filling. We...have also celebrated a birthday up there, it was great!

Sehr hohe Preise, konnte meiner Tochter nach der Wanderung leider nicht viel bieten. (Ich war schon vor vierzig Jahren als Kind immer mit meinen Eltern hier oben. Hab früher leckere Obstweine. Aber das Personal ist super freundlich, so war es doch ein schöner Ausflug und Besuch. Danke
Ein gemütlicher Gasthof im Wald, wir waren schon oft dort und waren jedes Mal voll zufrieden. Sowohl im Außenbereich als auch im Innenberich ein schönes Ambiente. Das Essen ist reichlich und sehr lecker, wir werden wieder kommen.
Sehr schön hier immer wieder, auf der Aussichtsterrasse, mit Blick weit über Frankfurt hinweg. Essen und auch wie immer lecker, gute Preise und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter.
Hier kann man nicht nur klasse essen sondern auch einen tollen Ausblick genießen. Das Personal war richtig flott und nett. Danke dafür
