Ich bin heute mit meiner Familie während unseres Schitages zum Mittagessen eingekehrt und wir erwarteten das typische Schihüttenessen... Zu unserer Freude war dem nicht so! Es erwartete uns eine kleine, aber feine Speisenauswahl und sehr freundliches, tüchtiges Personal. Mein Mann entschied sich für eine hausgemachte Pizza, die durchaus Pizzeria Qualität hatte. Ich versuchte, entgegen meiner Gewohnheit (da ich bei Nudeln im Restaurant meistens enttäuscht wurde), die hausgemachten Nudeln und war wirklich begeistert - spitze! Sogar die Chicken Fingers waren hausgemacht - auch unsere Kinder waren sehr zufrieden.... Qualität hat Ihren Preis, aber lieber ein klein wenig mehr bezahlen und gut esse...
Das Restaurant wurde wohl vor kurzem modernisiert. Insofern fehlt an manchen Ecken leider etwas der Charme den man sich von einer Einkehr auf einem Berg etwas wünscht. Das Restaurant ist sehr groß, hell und clean eingerichtet. Auf der Speisekarte findet man neben diversen Suppen auch eine Auswahl an österreichischen Schmankerl und diversen Süßspeisen sowie selbstgemachten Kuchen. Absolut erwähnenswert ist dass alle Speisen komplett selbst gemacht werden, selbst die Nudeln und natürlich die Kuchen. Der Service ist wirklich unglaublich schnell und nett. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl.
We had spent the morning on top of the mountain and needed lunch. We spotted this new restaurant and walked in we had a cheery greeting from the waiter. Found a table with a wonderful view and perused the menu. The waiter was very helpful with the menu. We had three jacket potatoes and a beef soup with strudel, two large beer, 2 small beer. The restaurant was very clean and good toilets. The potatoes were HUGE. The bill came to 56 euros. Not over priced as these places can sometimes be
A magyar árak kétszeresével kell számolni annak, aki itt szeretne vmit is fogyasztani, azonban osztrák viszonylatban teljesen sztenderd az arszabása ennek a lenyűgöző helyen üzemelő étteremnek. Mi teljesen elégedettek voltunk mind a kiszolgálással, mind a felszolgált italokkal és fagyikehellyel is. Semmi extra, nem egy puccos hely, inkább egy egyszerű de autentikus a környezetében. Bátran ajánlom mindenkinek.

After the ice caves, we went for lunch at Bergrestaurant to rest and recharge before the 30 min trek to the 5 Fingers. Chose to sit indoors instead of in the sun which looked equally nice. Good service. My daughter ordered a local beer and the owner came around and noticed it's the wrong brand - we didn't know better - and changed it without fuss to the correct Hallstatt Das Bier. Nice. Great pizzas.
Ein tolles Restaurant mit superschneller freundlicher Bedienung.Mein Besuch mit Rollstuh,l war dank der tatkräftigen Hilfe des Wirtes, kein Problem, kürzeste Wartezeiten auf Trinken und Essen,Das Essen ist geschmacklich hervorragend und optisch ansprechend präsentiert! Mein zweimaliger Besuch im Restaurant bleibt mir, nach diesen positiven Erfahrungen , in bester Erinnerung !Sehr zu empfhelen, toll!
Went up the mountain to enjoy the walking and views, both were fabulous, but we were happy to be surprised by the excellent food at this restaurant. We had two main courses and both thoroughly enjoyed them. Given the location the price was pretty good for one of the nicest meals we have had on this trip. The service was efficient, easily our best experience in this area.
We were there on a cloudy day, so most of the time we saw nothing outside :)) But at the moments when clouds were gone, the view was fantastic. I hope to come again in a better weather conditions and enjoy a cup of coffee looking at the mountains around :)

Eten is niet veel duurder dan in het dal, maar wel een stuk minder smakelijk. Alleen voor de snelle, smakeloze hap, zoals je die ook langs de snelweg zou mogen verwachten
Mukava henkilökunta, hyvää pitsaa ja viiniä keskellä lumimaisemaa - mitä enempää voi toivoa? Meillä oli lämmin päivä ja ylhäällä oli todella kuuma!
