Missed out last Summer to visit this place, but today we finally made it. What can one say? Just go and see for yourself : lovely restaurant, excellent food, super friendly.. and the stunning views are magnificant! Aleksandra and her Team must be world famous by now in the Saas-Valley as they stand for excellent service, very fine and nice food, and the whole tchebang ! When spending holidays here, don't miss out on their other restaurant "Bodmen", situated 'Unter den Bodmen, Saas-Grund. That restaurant you will never want to leave again... Trust me!
The home-made rösti in this place is fabulous. No wonder, the team is the same that has the mountain restaurant Heidbodme where they have even more different varieties to choose from. Having now the same great atmospere, friendliness and food in the valley is fantastic...for those not wanting to walk up the mountain (or afraid of the chair lift). Keep up the good work and to say it with the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger: I'll be back
came after a long walk with friends and restaurant bodmen was the ideal place to refill our energy reserves. the rösti that we had are delicious and even as good eaters we were not able to finish everything. the service was great, very friendly, free. coffee at the end. everything perfect that we come back.
Had dinner several times during our 2 weeks holidays. Interior, friendliness and quality of food was simply EXCELLENT! The place to be in Saas Grund : Also very dog friendly which was a bonus as we brought 2 dogs. Highly recommendable! We will surely gladly return on...our next holiday in Saas Tal :

great small mountain restaurant with a fantastic view of the walliser mountains. super fine specialties, attentive service incl. a gruss from the kitchen as a small apero. fair prices for children's menu and therefore also for families affordable. happy again!
not only the wonderful view offers reason enough to go to this small restaurant. also the ease of operation and the quality of drinks and eating is top.
