My husbands colleague suggested this place as a terrific restaurant so when my husbands birthday came around we booked up. When we went it was very rainy and cloudy but under other circumstances that view would be absolutely stunning. The servers were amazing! I don't speak much German, I'm still learning, but when they found out I was Scottish they made a massive effort to speak English and I really appreciated that. They were fun and super friendly! My girlfriend and I haven't been to the Rye for a while, so we decided to visit the Rye again. The restaurant was remodeled with an open kitchen and very modern but retained the mountain ambience. The food was very tasty , my girlfriend had the Züri Geschnetzeltes, I had the Cordon Bleu, and the dessert menu was also very appealing. The service was very friendly and the boss was also present. All in all a successful evening, we will come back.
The restaurant is simply great. The atmosphere is right thanks to friendly service staff and a cozy atmosphere. The view of the mountains and the landscape creates a cozy feeling. The food is fantastic. Not only the taste but also the appearance is in a class of its own. The price is completely justified for what you get.
