Bergsee - Table reservation

A bit late review, but eventually got to it. I took my yearold father, his partner and my wife to Bergsee Restaurant for lunch. My father travelled all the way from Brazil to visit Germany, and I had the misfortune to take them to...this place. Germany and its people have been lovely up to this point of our journey. We just walked into the restaurant looking forward to a good lunch as we were all hungry. This was late summer We were welcomed by this guy with cropped hair and the worst attitude I ever seen on a waiter supposed to welcome clients. The restaurant wasn't even busy. Have literally just left this restaurant and felt compelled to write a review immediately in order that no other poor unsuspecting person has to endure this utterly diabolical food. Granted the service was very quick and the staff were OK but the food was so...bad some of it was inedible! I had the salmon in dill cream sauce salmon tasteless and well overcooked as was the broccoli 'mush' that accompanied it. My friend had salmon pasta but again, a microwave supermarket meal would have been better. Neither of us could eat the food. The coca cola was also some cheap supermarket version rather than the genuine article. And the staff seemed quite affronted when we didn't give a tip! Avoid this p...

Of course, this is a kind of tourist trap. The waiter looked at us like he wanted to say, please go, I don’t feel like working. He put the menu on the table without saying anything. Then after minutes he came to take the...order. No word spoken. We ordered the trout filet, both smoked and baked. The fish is ok, but it is extremely overpriced. After we have asked for the bill and we paid, he kept looking at us, probably waiting for a tip, as we should feel pity for the poor man that he has to work in Bergsee. I would advice him to look for a job that better fits

Thanks to Andrea we had an amazing time at the bar. Very good waiter and worker, dealing very well with busy time and customers. Very good experience

They sell masks for for the clients but their staff in the kitchen don't wear masks. Food is ok. Staff don't speak English
