Berndl Restaurant - Table reservation

had a meal with friends last week. suppe was lukewarm and the kaspressknodl tasted as if it was bought and worn in the money. I doubt if it was home. the main course was cordon bleu schnitzel, but it was not freshly cooked....We thought it was microwave-cooled. the kartoffels were cold so we sent them back. I doubt there is actually a cook. the menu is very limited so that in a short time they can serve many meals mostly tourist and who cares what tourist thinks? in one minute there will be another tourist. the service was abrupt and the waitress was quite grumpy. we ordered wein and then another caffeine. the second caffeine was different from the first. no apologies, they avoid this place.

we were a hiking group of friends, and our first evening brought us to this enchanting local place with styrian charme. even though it took a while to get things moving at first, all that was brought to the table both drinks and food... was very good. especially the local fish specialties trout and char tasted great. meat had to be redone, as it was overdone at first, but that could have just been due to the overload of guests at that moment. 2nd time around it was to the point. we were quite talkative but in the corner so noone complained. very nice atmosphere to enjoy an evening, or more.

beautiful garden where we can sit and eat. eating was okay, but not anymore. the burgunder white wine was excellent.

beautiful place, excellent service, very good regional cuisine, especially fish, added by a good choice of wine

we liked to eat a lot, it was traditional, non-fat or too salty, the farm was cozy outside to sit
