Bernhard's - Table reservation

Spending many meal times in the charming Bernhard's restaurant in Oberaudorf, I always come away yearning for one more visit! I cannot ever get enough of their delicious soups, varied by the seasons; and I still stop by for a nightcap and even a dessert...when dining elsewhere! The marvelous service,comfortable surroundings, and zestful dishes from Chef Peter Bernhard, always brings me running back to this comfortable haven. The Vitello Tonnato AGAIN, and the gans leber parfait, still top my favorite lists. Suffering through a frightfully hot summer in the Bavarian Alps, it was a pleasure to cool down with new additions to the charming Bernhard 's menu. Listening to my friends go on and on about Vitello Tonnato, I finally dug into this incredible dish from Peter...Bernhard 's charming kitchen. It was sublime! As I started with an amazing Gaspacho Soup, well, what could be more cooling than this different dish? I will return often to this, my favorite Bavarian restaurant, while looking forward to the Herbst (Fall) Special Menus. Hope they last through November...............

What a wonderful place to visit and feel at home at the same time. The staff welcomed us as if we had been there before. The food was excellent! Very limited menu as only the best German foods were served. The decor was what you...would expect from a small restaurant located in the mountains of Bavaria. The added bonus to this lovely place was the beer. Wow. If you get to the area, you should make a reservation to eat at this local establishment. We ate both lunch and dinner at this establishment.

If you love all the typical Bavarian food Schupfnudeln,Knödel and all the other wonderful things they make with potatoes, you´ll be happy here. Great salads and sauces. for meat eaters of course, the best dishes in Germany are Bavarian... Bernhard´s has an excellent choice. It...is always busy so best is to make areservation...service a little slow but the food makes up for it all.

Menu changing daily, breakfast, lunch and dinner Fresh White Asparagus done 7 different ways, terrific Schnitzel, Pork Roast, Wine Selections, Service is terrific
