Great little cafe with really yummy food and friendly staff. It is on a busy road but that's the joy of the inner west. Great coffee and the kids (12 and 14 love the bacon and egg rolls. Sounds basic but they make them with love. The sandwiches are just fab too, as the other reviewer said. I just can't go past the avocado toast, and keep coming back for more. Served with a poached egg and his own home made dukkah how can something so simple taste so yum?!? These guys REALLY know what they're doing :
B&G is a quaint cafe opposite Marrickville oval with a vintage and bicycle themed decor, friendly staff with attentive service. <br/ <br/ A robust piccolo that lacked the smoothness I prefer; decent but not for me to have two piccolos.<br/ <br/ I had buckwheat pancakes served with ricotta, fresh mint, berries, vanilla poached pear, and a little maple syrup. A nice light dish. <br/ <br/ Hubs had fried eggs, Haloumi and chorizo and enjoyed it. <br/ <br/
Used to come here now and then for a homemade spanakopita and just stumbled back here with a friend expecting the same... But new owners new menu and new coffee. Doesn't happen very but this place is actually so much better than the previous owner.... Golden cobra coffee which is fantastic and literally the best mushrooms on toast you will ever have
Amazing quality coffee, food and customer service. Really enjoyed my meal. I ordered the scrambled eggs, my partner ordered the pumpkin bruschetta. Both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you’re nearby to give this place a shot. You will not regret. A delicious.

I love this place the staff are very sweet, the coffee and food good. I like that it’s across from the park and has real ‘atmosphere’, something I find lacking in many (larger) places. Give it a try it just might suit you too...
Great little local cafe with great coffee and healthy breakfast options. We had the green salad with poached chicken and a haloumi sandwich. Both were tasty and delicious! Looks like we have found our new regular weekend cafe!
Best Hamburgers in the Marrickville area. Real old fashion hamburger, none of that American MacDees stuff that so many cafes produce now. And the potato chips are hand cut deliciousness! Best Chai I have had in a cafe too
Delicious coffee and food! Service is marvelous and place is very pet friendly. Love their fundraiser for pets in Ukraine. That was really really wonderful.
