Don't bother. The staff I talked to while ordering at the Conn. Ave. Dupont location was so rude that I decided leave. I will not spend my money at an establishment who would hire (and keep! a rude staff person who takes out their a bad attitude on customers. Do better, Bethesda Bagels, manager! Fire that staffer; you know the one. If you're reading this in search of a great bagel place in DC, try So's Your Mom, Bullfrog Bagels, or Call Your Mother. They know how to make great bagels sandwiches AND hire friendly, competent staff.
Ordered through UberEats for delivery between 8:30-9:00 to my hotel. We wanted to eat quickly before We had to check out and leave by 9:30. I watched on the app the driver sitting and waiting while the delivery time ticked up and up. When delivery arrived at 9:20, the driver apologized. The order was wrong. I called the shop and was asked, What do you want me to do about it? I 'll find another place to order from next time I 'm in town.
The bagels here are amazing, but the service is terrible. Every time I get takeout from this place, there's always something wrong with my order and they don't seem to care or make it right. It's better to just order in person, as the hassle of takeout isn't worth it.
I ordered a bagel with cream cheese, it was disappointing mostly because of how stingy they were with the cream cheese I couldn't even taste it! 2 stars because this is an avoidable mistake that simply shouldn't happen.

I ordered an everything bagel and was very disappointed as it looked more like a plain bagel. There was nothing on top and only a few seeds on the bottom. It was not what I remembered from Bethesda Bagel.
My everything bagel with cream cheese and lox was delicious. There was a little extra cream cheese but I’d rather have too much than not enough so no complaints!
Small shop but great bagel. Had vegan options. Wish I could visit and go back more. Worth going out of the way for. Did have a couple seats in the place.

The blueberry bagels lacked moisture and flavor, and had a dull texture. However, the chocolate cake donut was superior to the one from Dunkin' Donuts.
My bagel was beyond stale and so gross. So utterly disappointed and can't believe I spent $5 on it. A $1 grocery store bagel would have tasted better.
