what they get is beautiful and well presented. the room is beautiful and the staff is friendly and attentive. the only thing I would say is that the vegan cakes are a little disappointing. although beautiful, I feel like not much was put into the cakes on the standard afternoon tea with vegans. you get a carrot cake that is very tasty, but then the other two cakes are replaced by a yogurt and two sticks of chocolate.
Got in early to avoid queuing and it was a very pleasant experience. Vegan options were clearly marked and pretty good value for money. I asked if they did a vegan afternoon tea but unfortunately not, though the waitress seemed very hopeful for the future!
they wait on the stairs to sit in the wonderfully decorated tee room. we had scene and a special spider that were all extraordinarily good! they offer a great selection of very good tee, and the personal is friendly, too
