Used to be an awesome place to go until about 6 weeks ago. Totally changed now! We went in over the weekend and we asked the waitress Alicia) what had happened and she informed us that the manager had been fired and new ones brought in. We will never go back in the entire place was unfriendly and disorganized. Our waitress, Alicia is the one that should have been fired. I figured a Mexican Food restaurant in San Angelo that was in the Top Ten overall would be a can 't miss. I figured wrong. I live in the Houston area and have never eaten at a Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurant that was so underwhelming. Our server was very friendly, and it was fun to see the easy-neighborhood ambience, but the food was largely devoid of taste or spice.
Franco's had been recommended by a local friend for Mexican fare. We opted to go for Sunday breakfast. Our waiter was awesome, I asked him for suggestions and he was dead on my friend ordered the chiliquinas and I got the machacado, we each ordered a single pancake as well. It was ALL delicious!! Highly recommend!
