Warm welcome from staff, booked a table. Nice atmosphere and decor food was well presented and very tasty, first time trying authentic German cuisine, would certainly return to try other food on the menu as we made a faux pas by ordering a Jagerschnitzel and Classic Schnitzel each, they were so big we could of shared one between us. Serving staff were very helpful and moved us to another table after a larger than expected noisy table arrived next to us, we were also given take out containers to take the leftovers home, need to go back to try other foods.
I've never given anywhere a poor staff review before. I ordered some drinks and food- complete silence from waitress and was served items in complete silence with her chatting with co-worker, both not looking at anyone. I would suggest the company installs a machine to take and deliver food and drink orders.However drinks and food were excellent- please sort your staff out otherwise I expect your business won't last very long!
I have just visited beer house for the first time, it was on my list for a long time and I was definitiw not disappointed. brilliant selection of beer. they are fresh and taste amazing. I had no food this time, but what I could see looked great. the staff was nice, pleasant and very helpful. is coming back. excellent pub/restaurant, recommend a visit.
Love the beer here, and the food is good traditional fair. Staff are always friendly, but what let's it down are the erratic opening times. Took a friend one Friday as I had told him how good it was. Should have opened at 4pm, but 4.20pm and still not open, so we went elsewhere. Not the first time either Book a table now
Ordered a spread of dishes via JustEat some schnitzel, potato and beef goulash, sausages (obviously! and some vegetarian bots plus beer battered cheese sticks to share. Everything came quickly but more importantly tasted awesome; I loved the goulash and everyone loved the cheese sticks.
A really nice discovery as we were looking for somewhere to have a quick drink before a visit to cinema. Decent beer so much so we squeezed in 2 beers) ,ordered a couple of items of food which were tasty the staff service were excellent. Look forwward to my next visit.
this is one of our favorite restaurants in the fantastic menu reading, really tasty dining and vegetarian options. also great to get a tankard of beer. beautiful friendly atmosphere. preview, the plate is much too big for two people!
