We were in town for a convention and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, which is next door to this restaurant. We ended up walking the four blocks from the convention center to eat here for lunch because the food and staff were both consistently good. We also ate dinner here a couple nights, too. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and staff. The food is a good step up from what you'd expect of bar fare. (Our son, who is only 20, was also able to eat with us, which was a big plus. Not to mention he's a VERY picky eater and even he was a big fan! I highly recommend them for a casual dining experience.
I can’t speak for the bar, but I would not recommend eating here...maybe our group just drew the short stick with the waiter that day. She had gotten one of our orders wrong, and two of us ordered mozzarella sticks, which she gave to the wrong table. Our “well done” burgers were way over cooked and the waiter did not ask us if we wanted our change when taking our payment, she simply just kept it. Normally I would not mind, but because of the awful service, it was less than agreeable.
I'm always downtown and this is always the first and sometimes the only spot i visit. The staff is amazing. Joe the bartender treats everyone as a VIP. Thank you for all your service. If the owner is in he always comes up to make sure everyonev is taken care of. Just found out he owns 2 other clubs in Greek town. Checked them both out. Couldn't be happier with the service and locations. The Greek Level 2. If you get a chance to visit one of these bars i recommend the food too.
This was my first time at Big City Grill. I tried the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich—it was tasty, though nothing extraordinary. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean. There's a direct entrance from the Holiday Inn Express to Big City, which is convenient. If you’re staying at the Holiday Inn and prefer not to venture far, they offer a solid food menu and a good variety of beers. They also have a full bar if that’s your preference.

The food here is excellent. While the menu offers classic bar favorites, I've tried the burgers, wings, and nachos, and they've all been impressive. The bar and service staff are incredibly friendly, which adds to the overall experience. If you're staying at the Holiday Inn Express, this location is very convenient. It's also a fantastic spot for watching a game, thanks to the large screens at the bar. Each visit has been enjoyable for me.
I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. The food was delicious, and the waitstaff were exceptional. The manager was friendly and even treated us to a few complimentary shots. Since I was staying at the Holiday Inn Express next door, it was very convenient. It's also within walking distance to Ford Field and Little Caesars Arena. Overall, it made for a wonderful weekend!
The food was delicious. The pizza was large enough for two, and we had leftovers for two nights in a row, even though we weren’t planning to work out. To be honest, it wasn’t very busy for a Friday and Saturday night at this location, which was nice for me. However, my wife prefers when there are larger crowds, so I guess it’s a matter of personal preference.
