This was our first time visiting the Big Dipper, and it certainly won't be our last! I ordered the California burger, and I genuinely believe it's the best burger I've ever had. My husband chose the pork tenderloin sandwich, which he also deemed the best. We also tried the deep-fried mushrooms, and they were absolutely perfect. We both got a side of fries and ended up bringing some home because we simply couldn't finish them. Although we were too full for dessert this time, we're definitely planning to come back for ice cream when we're in the area. The service was outstanding, and the café had such a charming décor. I was going to Longville Minnesota for ice cream and I found the road is closed. I turnaround back to Hackensack and I was lucky to find this ice cream shop Great selection of ice cream, food, and other treats. For me the google maps location was a block off, but we found the spot after looking around a bit . It was cash only when we went, but there is a bank with an ATM across the street and they allowed us to walk over and get cash
Arrived with a large crew (6 and 2 toddlers) around lunch time and was welcomed without much enthusiasm. Ordering food was odd all standing around one menu on the counter. Food came quickly, was accurate and fine. Ate outside. Fries were knockout delicious, but set the bar too high for the burger. Ice cream options are plentiful. Very good ice cream! They are not stingy with it. Staff is up beat. FYI they have a bathroom for the customer
