I've visited Big John's Pizzeria several times over the years, and it's been a staple on Jamaica Avenue and 219 for as long as I can remember. My first experience there was in the early 2000s when I ordered a chicken roll and a sausage roll, both of which were quite tasty. Eventually, I tried a slice of their pizza, which was decent as well. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is courteous and friendly. This place is truly a landmark on Jamaica Avenue in Queens, and the prices are reasonable too.
I have been visiting this place since I was a kid in middle school, and even through high school. Today marks the last day I will be spending money here. I don't know what has happened, but the quality of the pizza has significantly deteriorated. Recently, the pasta sauce has also become terrible, and I found a bone baked in my pizza. After being a loyal customer for over 20 years, I am deeply disappointed and will no longer be ordering from this pizza place.
Overall, it was a decent experience. I ordered two cheese slices to go, but the cashier appeared to struggle with the POS system. When I got home, I noticed that one of the slices was quite burnt on the bottom, while the other was good.
A Shadyville Classic... I've been coming here since I was 12 or 13 years old. I would play a few video games, grab a VHS movie from Blockbuster, and just relax. Now, 35 years later, they’re still making great pizza!

I've been visiting this place since I was a child, and while the pizza can be a bit greasy at times, it has always been delicious. I always have a great time when I'm here and look forward to dining here again soon.
Their pizza is very good. The sandwiches not so much. The problem with here is that it looks like a fire hazard. They have an over loaded outlet right when you enter the door.
The plain pizza is quite tasty, and the zeppoles are excellent. The wings are also good. However, I'm not a big fan of the specialty pizzas.
I've been going here since I was a teen, they have one of the best Zeppoles&Pizza.
