YUM, Big Kyle BBQ is so delicious! Owned by siblings, Kyle and Amy, we were so fortunate to stumble across them at a local farmers market! The menu offers St Louis spare ribs, beef brisket, pulled chicken, pulled pork, various sides (such as coleslaw, mac n' cheese, homestyle baked beans, and collard greens), Martin's Potato Rolls, the house's signature BBQ sauces. I was a little disappointed that they had run out of the Big Willie, the chili cheese dog, so definitely have to come back to try that! We did order the beef brisket sandwich, which came generously filled between a Martin's Potato bun you can choose the fat ratio preference of your brisket, but why would anyone choose anything els...
I was really looking forward to trying Big Kyle's BBQ after noticing the long lines at the Loudoun County Farmers Market. Unfortunately, I was let down by everything we ordered. I know that barbecue can be quite subjective, but this just didn’t hit the mark for me. The pulled pork sandwich was unusually dry, making it hard to swallow even with sauce. The brisket was also very dry; I’ve managed to make better brisket myself at home by smoking it over lump charcoal with wood chunks. The mac and cheese didn't have the rich flavor I was hoping for. I'm still on the hunt for a great BBQ spot in NOVA...
At the Pentagon City Farmer's Market: Ribs and pulled pork were exceptional. Sauces, including the ghost, were surprisingly flavorful (and not too spicy, if you have a good tolerance). If you like simple, expertly-crafted bbq, you'll be very happy. (If you're looking for something fancy, perhaps looks elsewhere). Great family-run business and big shout out to Kyle and family!Pro tip: They start selling out around noon with a long line; suggest going early if you want brisket, ribs, or their fully-loaded hot dog.
I had a great experience at Kyle's BBQ during the OxTober release event at Old Ox Brewing Company. The food was delicious, and the portions were definitely worth the price. I will definitely be looking for them again in the future.

Great dinner tonight. Big Kyle BBQ hooked me up with some Brisket, Coleslaw, Mac Cheese. So good! Brisket cooked to perfection. Lots of flavor and the smokiness was just right. Everything was delicious!! Highly recommend it.
I just tried the pork belly, ribs, chicken wings, green beans, and macaroni and cheese, and I have to say, everything was absolutely delicious!!! The smoking was done to perfection. This is genuine BBQ — 100% recommended!
Big Kyle BBQ came to my company’s car show this past Sunday. Not only were they kind, their food was delicious, and they were the had the longest lines! We are so grateful to Kyle and his team. 10/10 recommend!
Genuine barbecue traditional sides. Occasionally busy but service is usually quick. It's a table at a Saturday farmers market, you know the vibe. I take it home to eat.
